Podane
Ruce UK was born out of a desire to develop better drug services,
working to enable a more grassroot approach, developed by people at the
heart of their communities. We work to promote and develop professional
& educational links between drug services in the UK as well as drug
services in Eastern Europe and beyond.
Our Vision
Podane
Ruce UK aims to become a platform of knowledge and information on issues
related to methamphetamine use, abuse, prevention and treatment, as well
as a key reference point for improving the access of Central and Eastern
European immigrants to drug services and information.
Our
objectives, as indicated in our Declaration of Trust are:

To promote and
develop professional and educational links between drug services in the
UK and drug services in Eastern Europe and abroad.

To work on the
development of existing services, providing new services concerning
drugs education/ drugs prevention among teenagers, their parents,
teachers or educators.
·
To advance the
education of the general public, and of organisations and professionals
working with drug abuse, in all matters relating to drug abuse in
general, and methamphetamine abuse in particular, in view to reducing
the harm to society caused by illicit drug use.
